Good afternoon [[FIRST_NAME]],

and welcome to Winter - in Autumn! - wow, how quickly the weather can change, but that's Melbourne.

So what's been happening?

Sailing at Carrum is fun and casual - come join us if you can, but the fact is we need a minimum of three boats at least, (four or five is even better) to put on some racing, means we've not done a lot of racing.

In the meantime, there's social sailing...Making time to sail seems to be the issue (then there's the weather too) so we just have to plan early, have a back-up plan and communicate with each other to be able to make good things happen.

The best way to stay in the loop with who is sailing when, is to join our WhatsApp group (see the item below.)

We invite members to be proactive in initiating sailing days, you will be supported as best we can manage in a small club - use WhatsApp to communicate your thoughts and desires.

And remember, there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.

Concreting the Western side of the yard has been quoted & re-quoted... it will happen.

This is quite a large financial outlay but will hopefully clean up the yard and allow for the installation of a shower and changeroom facility.

You already know we have SUP racks and windsurfer LT racks installed in the south-most shipping container. This is a great spot - out of the weather, so tell your friends, cheap SUP storage close to the beach and ideal for early morning weekend SUPing.

Did you know we have a WhatsApp group? Just a place to let people know when you’re sailing, ask questions, share bargains that you find on fb marketplace… This is the best place to know who's sailing when and what club gear is free.

We are a club so we must have an AGM.

Let's make it a fun one in July. This sould be the time when ALL members get together to discuss the club progress and look forwards with plans for our next season.
