Welcome to Winter news

Hello [[FIRST_NAME]]

As we slowly slide into another Melbourne Winter a few members have taken the opportunity to get out on the water in the recent warmer days. There have been quite a few casual adventures since the season officially ended, most of them are recorded on the socials.

Tess has been doing an amazing job creating social media to tell our story. Follow our social thingies to keep up with the news as it happens. https://www.facebook.com/reel/889192537535947

New members

Welcome to Annabel!

Our newest member. It's amazing to think that Annabel is already a sailor and just walked up off the beach, checked us out, and then decided to join. This is exactly what we need. Thank you Annabel for considering and joining CSMBC.

Annabel has sailed Toppers, Lasers (iLCA) and Pacers previously in the UK.

BIG NEWS in the yard

The concrete is down and drying as we speak. This should make it easier to access boats and encouraging the yard area to remain more organised and presentable. A major step in our vision of the future Carrum Sailing & Motor Boat Club.

The webcam AND weather Station.

and so now there is a weather station HERE linked to the web cam page. It still needs a bit of a tweak. Thanks to Nathan for getting this out of the boatyard and onto the roof.

Thanks Simon and Nathan for making this happen.

Laing, Brendan, Tess and Annable (missing from pic) braved to cold to partake in the Winter Solstice Swim. A WSS (Winter Solstice Sail) will hopefully become part of our calendar next year.

So see you all on the 17th, and remember to use the whatsapp if you are venturing down to the club for a swim or a SUP paddle or a sail.
