We are pleased to invite members and friends to the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Carrum Sailing and Motor Boat Club Inc. The meeting will be held at 7:00PM Friday 17th July 2026 at the CSMBC club rooms (hosted by The Galley at CSMBC).
Please join us to reflect on the past year, share your ideas, and be part of the the future of this wonderful boating club. Following the AGM (approx 30-45 mins) we encourage you to stay around for food, drink and chats.

VOTING AND COMMITTEE ELIGIBILITY
According to the club constitution only full members can vote at an AGM or hold committee postitions.
We welcome all other members (associate and social) and friends to hear about the club's year and to express their views. The elected committee may invite nominations from non-voting members to act as representatives to the committee
PROXIES
According to our constitution, "a member may appoint another member as his or her proxy to vote and speak on his or her behalf at a general meeting." If you would like to appoint a proxy, please fill in this proxy form. The form can be:
- Given to the chairperson before or at the commencement of the meeting
- Or returned electronically (to this email address) or by post (PO Box 505 Patterson Lakes 3197) no later than 24 hours before the commencement of the meeting

- Opening and introduction from the CSMBC president as chair.
- Confirmation of quorum of members
- Note on any members proxies or “electronic” attendance
- Confirmation of the minutes of last AGM
- Annual report of the committee on the activities of the club during the previous year, 2025/2026 (president's report)
- Financial statements of the club for the proceeding financial year, 2025/2026 (treasurer's report)
- Membership report, 2025/2026
- Election of members for the committee
- Confirmation of the club's annual subscriptions
- AGM closing by president
After the closing of the formal AGM, the old committee and new committee may open an “any other business” session, to include any questions and answers from members and social members.
